AC Discounters warrants the original retail purchaser (“Purchaser”) purchasing in the United States that the product (“Product”) with which this warranty is enclosed is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase, subject to all the terms and conditions hereunder. This warranty is exclusive to Purchaser and is not assignable.

The Product has been refurbished and has been tested to ensure it is a fully functioning product free of defects. The Product may have scratches or other surface blemishes which are not covered under the provisions of this warranty.

AC Discounters’ sole obligation under this warranty is to replace, or at AC Discounters’ discretion, to repair, free of charge, all defective parts, for a period of one (1) year from date of original purchase. AC Discounters is not responsible for labor charges, removal charges, installation, or other incidental or consequential costs. In no event shall AC Discounters’ liability exceed the purchase price of the defective Product. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, all of which are expressly excluded and disclaimed. AC Discounters shall not be liable for loss of profits or any special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages which purchaser may sustain, directly or indirectly arising from purchaser’s use or inability to use the product, even if AC Discounters has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Exchanges only apply to like or same refurbished units.

To obtain warranty service, the defective Product must be shipped or delivered to AC Discounters at the following address:

All shipping and insurance charges are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser and are not included in this warranty unless the Product is received by the AC Discounters within thirty (30) days after the original purchase and AC Discounters is responsible for repair or replacement of the Product under this warranty.

The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any Product which in AC Discounters’ judgment has been (1) subject to misuse or neglect, (2) damaged in an accident, (3) used for purpose which it was not designated, or (4) repaired or altered in any way that adversely affected its performance or reliability.

Do not attempt to “open unit”, except for filter replacement. Opening the Product unit except for filter replacement will void this warranty.

AC DISCOUNTERS NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY OTHER LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH ITS PRODUCTS, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. NO RESPONSIBILTY IS ASSUMED FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT MAY RESULT FROM THE USE OF AN AC DISCOUNTERS’ PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES DUE TO ACCIDENT, ABUSE, LACK OF RESPONSIBLE CARE, THE AFFIXING OF ANY UNAUTHORIZED ATTACHMENT, LOSS OF PARTS, OR USE AT A VOLTAGE OTHER THAN SPECIFIED. Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. AC Discounters disclaims all liabilities for defects or damages caused by use of replacement parts obtained from or by service at any service other than AC Discounters. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which very from state to state.

THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT BE EXTENDED, ALTERED OR VARIED EXCEPT BY A WRITTEN INSTRUMENT DULY SIGNED BY AC DISCOUNTERS.
